Wotech Heat Pump Performance Test

Each heat pump will have to be tested 30 mins for heating and 30 mins for cooling (if there is cooling mode). Water flow will be fixed, sensors will be installed on important positions to check if heat pump performs as designed. All test results will be marked on the unique product ID check list. Those which does not perform well enough will be taken off from production line for investigation.

How to make heat pump work with good effect in winter?

The domestic heat pump will have a problem that could not supply enough hot water in winter.The following are some notice for using domestic heat pump in winter. 

1. Adjusting temperature. In spring, summer and autumn, the water capacity produced by heat pump is rich, so the the running temperature could be adjusted to low, about 45 degree is available. In winter, if you don't adjust to high temperature, the speed of water production will lower than the water consumption, so the temperature should be adjusted to 55 degree.

2. Water consumption. Because the low temperature in winter, the water capacity production is low, if you don't have an enough large water tank, you should not use the water in the same time. The family shower time could be staggered.

3. The water return device. Do not set the water return device in auto mode. Because the low temperature in winter, the water in the pipe would be cold easily, which cause the water return and the water temperature in the tank will loss. So in winter, the water return device should be set in manual mode or water flow mode or remote control mode.

How to make a good installation of a air source heat pump?

1.Install location select. The heat pump could be installed in the balcony, terrace, outer wall, roof, ground and some ventilation places. The water tank could be put in the kitchen, restroom, and the main unit could be installed on the outer wall which near the water tank. The standard copper connect with main unit and water tank is 3 meter, too long is not good for refrigerant cycle, while the vertical tank needs a larger ground area to be placed.

2.The installation needs the drain device. There is some condensate water during the heat pump operating, so the location should be have the floor drain,gutterway and some drain device.

3.The heat pump controller position: The controller needs near the device, could be prevent by the rain. As the function would be set in advanced on the controller, so it is no need to install in a conspicuous position, the wall of balcony and corridor are both available to install.

4. Heat pump performing test procedure:1.connect the cold water pipe first, the cold water pipe was connected with a safe valve;2.Filling water into the water tank till there is water flow out the hot water mouth(that means the water tank once full of water),then turn off the valve,stop water filling.That is an important step(the water filling should be finished before the hot water pipe connection).

How heat pump works?

1. Cryogen temperature drops to -20℃ after the pressure releases. When ultra-low temperature liquor cryogen enters and flows in absorbing heat evaporator, it meets air about 20℃. Through air heat transfer (the temperature different is 40℃), ultra low cryogen absorbs air heat, its temperature rises to 20℃.

2. Cryogen of 20 enters low temperature compressor, gets pressed, heated up, and turns into high pressure 80℃ air. Discharged from compressor, and then enters heat exchanger.

3.Vaporized cryogen temperature of 80℃ passed heat to low cold water in heat exchanger, changing into 60℃ life used heat water which is pumped into warm keeping tank for storage through circulating pump. High temperature cryogen heat releases and turns into high pressure liquor.

4.High pressure liquor cryogen throttles and lowers pressure through expansion valve, making entering into evaporator to absorb.

5.According to Reserve Carnot Circle Theory, compressor constantly repeatedly circles. The whole course is to transfer heat. As long as it use a kilowatt-hour electricity to drive compressor to work, it can absorb heat in the air equat to that produced by 3-6kh electricity, passing to water. Obviously it save's energy and work safely.
