Green tea

and thirst.
Green tea
is one kind of the main types of tea in China, it is not fermented tea, it
takes the fresh leaves or buds, so it retained many natural substances, such as
tea polyphenols, chlorophyll, amino acid,vitamins ect. It is an excellent
source of antioxidants, burns fat, reduces high blood pressure,and prevent
cancer. That is why people love green tea very much.
There are many famous green teas in China,Now
let me introduce 3 kinds of famous teas for you:,
XIhu Longjing tea
Xihu is located in HangZhou China, Xihu Longjing
tea has combined not only the green color, but also the strong fragrance. From
one cup of Xihu Longjing tea, you can surely feel the traditional and proud
culture of Longjing tea.
HuangShan green tea
“Mao Feng” means “Fur Peak” and refers to
the silvery down, which covers each bud. Its growth at an elevation of 1000
meters(3000ft) in Huangshan and the average yearly temperature of 14-17,which
located in the southern parts of Anhui Province. It’s picked in the spring and
consists of one leaf and one downy covered bud.” They offer a gentle, fresh,
nutty, slightly hickory flavour and a sweet lingering after taste.
Dongting Biluochun
It is locally known as “Fearful Incense”
due to the strong aroma of the brew. The technique for collecting tea leaves is
very complex. Only the tender tip of the leaf is used for the tea making
process. The part of the leaf should be no longer than one inch and shape like
the tip of a spear. The next step in the process is to repeatedly knead, rub
and roll the leaves by hand. The Biluochun tea involves a particularly labor
intensive process but the end result are leaves that are compact, tender and
wonderfully fresh and aromatic.
